Getting zen with zentangle embroidery
We all know that crafting is our happy place, an activity that helps us unwind and destress.
Zentangle embroidery helps calm us through the process of creating artistic designs compromised of structured ‘tangles’ that make up a larger pattern or design. A way of designing you can ‘lose’ yourself in.

Material suggested
Lightweight Mochi (cotton and linen blend).
Stabiliser required
Cutaway is best for making cushions as keeping the stabiliser gives extra weight to the fabric. If you use a heavier fabric a tearaway will be sufficient.
Stitch out tips and techniques
Pick the fabric for your piping or binding first and tweak the contrast colour used in the embroidery (we’ve suggested turquoise) to match.
