I’m Erin, the 6th châtelaine of Château de Bourneau, a fairytale moated château in France.
Armed with my trusty Brother Innovis VQ2 & V3 sewing and embroidery machines, I love to upcycle vintage fabrics into beautiful projects to help bring the château back to beautiful! Châtelaines have been upcycling for their châteaux for 1000s of years and I’m delighted to continue the tradition of keeping useable items out of landfill to create chic yet cost-effective, accessible projects for an elegant home.
With over 30 bedrooms and 4 cottages to dress, the sewing machines certainly put in their miles with lots of fun along the way!
