Spooky ScanNCut cobwebs

Give your trick or treat bag a glow up with these easy-to-cut ScanNCut cobwebs. 

Use glow-in-the-dark heat transfer vinyl and you’ll be sure to stand out from the crowd this Halloween. 

You can also cut these designs from stick-on vinyl and foils, perfect for decorating your front door or for your Halloween home décor.

Materials needed 

  • 12 x 12” sheet glow in the dark heat transfer vinyl (HTV) or stick on vinyl 


Equipment needed

ScanNCut hardware 

OR

Other equipment 

  • Weeding tools 
  • Heat press or iron 
  • Pressing cloth 
  • Artspira (optional)*

How to 

Step 1 

Download cutting files and transfer to your ScanNCut. Resize the designs as per your preference.  Note: if you are cutting any wording for heat transfer vinyl (HTV), please remember to mirror the design before you cut.

Step 2

Select Half Cut option.

Step 3

For HTV: place with shiny side onto the cutting mat and smooth down firmly.  

For vinyl: place onto mat with vinyl side facing upwards. 

Load the cutting mat into your ScanNCut.

Step 4 

Cut all your designs and remove carefully from the cutting mat.

Step 5 

Using weeding tools, remove all the parts that are not needed.

Step 6

For HTV: lay down your weeded elements onto your fabric, shiny side up. Place pressing cloth on top and press according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.  

For vinyl: place transfer foil over the whole design, remove the pieces from the vinyl backing and stick it onto your home décor item. 

Step 7 

Remove the transfer foil and voila!
