
Papercraft 3D Easter Egg
As spring approaches, Easter brings with it a celebration of the brightness and beauty of spring.

Materials
- 2 Sheets of 80lb/210gsm cardstock for the eggshell
- 1 Sheet of 80lb/210gsm cardstock for the decorative panels and bow
Equipment
- Brother ScanNCut – Any CM Model
- Standard mat [CAMATSTD12]
- Standard blade [CABLDP1] and blade holder [CAHLP1]
OR
- Brother ScanNCut – Any SDX model
- Standard mat [CADXMATSTD12]
- Standard autoblade [CADXBLD1] and holder [CADXHLD1]
- Glue with fine tipped applicator
- Self-adhesive hook and loop dot or tape cut to size
- Tweezers (optional)
- Hand embossing/scoring tool and metal ruler (optional)

How to
Step 1
Download the CanvasWorkspace project file using the blue button above.

Step 2
Open the pattern file in CanvasWorkspace (desktop edition).
Step 3
Open the layers tab on the right. Hide and lock all layers except the one titled “BOTTOM”.

Step 4
Transfer this to your machine using the File>Export/Transfer FCM File… menu option.
Step 5
Cut this from one of the sheets of cardstock you chose for the eggshell.Tip: remember to cut a test before you cut your main pattern.
Step 6
Back in CanvasWorkspace, hide and lock all layers except the one titled “TOP”. Transfer this to your machine using the File>Export/Transfer FCM File… menu option.

Step 7
Cut this from one of the sheets of cardstock you chose for the eggshell.
Step 8
Back in CanvasWorkspace, hide and lock all layers except the one titled “DECORATION”. Transfer this to your machine using the File>Export/Transfer FCM File… menu option.

Step 9
Cut this from the sheet of cardstock you chose for the decorative panels and bow.
Step 10
Assemble as shown in the video.
