Gentleman Crafter ScanNCut shaped apron card and box

Shaped apron card

Tailoring this card to the gardening enthusiasts in your life is easy!

If the one you love doesn’t have a green thumb, don’t worry! I’ve included additional cutting files to cover artists, bakers, cooks, DIY-ers and even BBQ-ers.

Just download the right cutting files to your ScanNCut and tailor the card to suit whoever you’re sending it to.

You could even create your own cutting files to further personalise the card. You could use the built-in patterns on your ScanNCut, CanvasWorkspace, or even the pattern library in Artspira.

Materials needed

Paper/card

  • Three sheets of 12 x 12” cardstock. I recommend a colour-core cardstock between 180gsm/65lb and 210gsm /80lb. Using thicker card may make the project difficult or impossible to assemble effectively
  • One sheet of 12 x 12” patterned paper. I recommend a midweight paper/card such as 160gsm/65lb cardstock
  • For the accessories: one piece of white cardstock approximately 125 x 125mm
  • Bookbinding glue or low tack quick grab glue
  • Fine tipped stylus and a metal ruler
  • Pens or pencils for colouring in the accessories
  • Assorted embellishments (optional)
