We’re excited to announce our 2021 product launches, which focus squarely on fabrics.
The new lines have been developed based on feedback from our users and includes something for everyone: from beginners right through to small business users.
For serious hobbyists and small business owners, we’ve developed the Entrepreneur W PR680W 6-Needle semi-professional embroidery machine. With six-needle speed and industrial acceleration, the PR680W can handle different-sized projects with ease. It can reach up to 1000 stitches per minute, has a generous 300 x 200 mm work area, and a 10.1” built-in high-definition LCD display. We’ve also introduced work screen shortcuts and keypad locks for busy shop floor located machines.
The Innov-is NV series welcomes two new machines: the NV2700 combination (sewing and embroidery) machine and the NV880E embroidery-only machine. Both models have an advanced needle threader and drop-in bobbin to reduce set up times; auto jump stitch trimmer; WLAN connectivity; large sewing/embroidery areas; automatic upper and lower thread sensors; and a full colour, large 4.9” touch screen. This range is ideal for beginners looking to make the next step to intermediate sewing and embroidery.
We believe sewing should be fun, so we’ve created the KD40s Little Angel a truly user-friendly beginner’s sewing machine. We’ve packed it full of lots of features you don’t usually see on an entry-level machine – start/stop button, easy needle threading system, drop in bobbin and the fixed needle bar, which means users can sew difficult and heavy fabrics with ease. We’ve added a finger guard, to help users avoid contact with the needle too. The KD40s is equipped with a metal frame and needle bar, which means it uses 46% less plastic than previous models!
Our ScanNCut range has been enhanced with two new models: the SDX1250 and SDX2250D. They include a brand-new rotary auto blade attachment which allows users to cut a wider range of fabrics more cleanly, without stabiliser and with minimum fraying. We’ve also launched the standalone rotary auto blade attachment kit, so those with legacy DX series machines can have more fun with fabrics too.
Roné Auret, senior marketing manager at BSME said: “We asked our customers what they wanted and developed the new ranges in line with this. We put the focus on fabrics, making it easier to work with difficult materials, even things like leather. During the pandemic, we saw more people get into sewing and embroidery. We want to encourage this creativity so our new machines are also more user friendly with easier to thread needles, WLAN connectivity, and large LCD displays.”
