
Wonderfully wintery matching T-shirts
Everyone’s got a Christmas jumper, but what about a Christmas T-shirt?
This quick-and-easy project is a great way to get all the family feeling festive. And it’ll make your holiday photos look super cute!
There are two different ways of adding the snowflake designs to these shirts, heat vinyl and rhinestone. You can use both, or just choose the type you prefer.
Materials
• T-Shirts, onesies or other garments of your choice
• Heat transfer vinyl
• Rhinestones

Equipment needed
• ScanNCut machine
• Rhinestone kit
• Vinyl blade (or standard blade depending on your machine model)
• Standard mat
• Auto blade (or standard blade depending on your machine model)
How to
Heat transfer vinyl

Step 1
Download the files and transfer to your ScanNCut machine. Choose the design sizes you want to use and delete the rest.Tip: use your ScanNCut’s in-built design function to change the sizes of the designs to suit.
Step 2
Attach the vinyl with carrier side down to the cutting mat and load into the machine.
Step 3
Select the half-cut function and perform a test cut. Amend your settings if needed.
Step 4
Cut the shapes and carefully remove from the mat. Use you ScanNCut’s weeding tool to help.
Step 5
Lay your cut out designs on your garment to finalise the design placement.
Step 6
Adhere with a heat press or iron, following your vinyl’s instructions.
Rhinestone designs
Step 1
Download the files and transfer to your ScanNCut machine. Choose the design sizes you want to use and delete the rest.
Step 2
Cut the stencil for the rhinestones from the rhinestone template material, as per the rhinestone kit instructions.Tip: View the instruction video for using the rhinestone kit here.
Step 3
Remove the stencil from the mat, and make sure all holes are weeded. Stick to the cardboard sheet provided with the kit.
Step 4
Sprinkle the rhinestones over and brush in place. Make sure all the holes are filled with a stone.
Step 5
Peel the transfer sheet off the backing, exposing the sticky side. Place over the stones, sticky side down. Pat down, making sure all the stones are adhered. Carefully lift it out and place on the garment.
Step 6
Press with a hot iron and a pressing cloth. Peel transfer sheet away.
