I have been sewing for as long as I can remember. So, no surprise that I majored in Textiles, followed by a career in journalism, mostly in food and craft sections of women’s glossies and later on my own publishing house for nine years.
A year in Cairo and then nine years in Dubai saw me change from publishing to retail and teaching. I now live in a small town in New Zealand, where I run a craft retail store called Handzon, teach and produce patterns for all kinds of sewing, quilting, yarn crafts, ScanNCut and hand and machine embroidery. I have been a Brother dealer for almost 16 years!
