We’re extremely proud to announce that a 2024 iF DESIGN AWARD has been won by our Skitch PP1 app operated embroidery machine, in the ‘Household Appliance’ Category!
It is the 17th consecutive year Brother has been named as an iF DESIGN AWARD winner and has now received a total of 92 awards, including this year’s four award winners.

The Skitch PP1 distinguishes itself by being Brother’s first compact free arm embroidery machine, solely operated by Brother’s creative app, Artspira, opening a new era in embroidery innovation. Beginner-friendly, it enables anyone to start their embroidery journey and allows them to customise ready-made items easily. With a 100 x 100mm embroidery area and an easy-to-use magnet frame, it makes the Skitch the perfect compact crafting companion.
iF DESIGN AWARD is hosted and judged by the iF International Forum Design GmbH, in Germany. This is one of the most prestigious international design competitions and has been running since 1953. Every year, around 11,000 designs are entered into the competition. It is recognised around the world because it is judged not only on the external appearance of the product but also on criteria such as functionality and environmental performance.
