Another iF DESIGN AWARD for Brother, with the Airflow3000 Overlocker among the winners of this prestigious competition.
We’re extremely proud to announce that a 2023 iF DESIGN AWARD has been won by our Airflow3000 Overlocker, in the ‘Household Appliance’ Category!
It is the 16th consecutive year Brother has been named as an iF DESIGN AWARD winner and has now received a total of 88 awards, including this year’s three winners.

Built for speed and ease, the Airflow3000 Overlocker brings affordable electronic air assisted technology to home use overlockers. The Airflow 3000’s stitch choices allow the user to achieve the finest of finishes on knits, stretchy materials, sheer fabrics, and even Lycra. And with its electronic air threader, threading even becomes a breeze!
iF DESIGN AWARD is hosted and judged by the iF International Forum Design GmbH, in Germany. This is one of the most prestigious international design competitions and has been running since 1953. Every year, around 11,000 designs are entered into the competition. It is recognised around the world because it is judged not only on the external appearance of the product but also on criteria such as functionality and environmental performance.
