Hello, I’m Sophie! I’m a Derbyshire-based writer and lifelong craft enthusiast with over 16 years of experience in the crafts publishing industry. I get gloriously geeky about crafty tech and also love dressmaking, embroidery, and adding way too much fabric to my stash (you can never have too much though, right!?).
Before going freelance in 2019, I worked for seven years as the Craft Editor for Hubert Burda Media, on titles including Your Home, Wedding, Wedding Flowers, Christmas Made Easy, and HomeStyle magazine. Before that, I launched several other market-leading craft titles including Sew magazine, Let's Get Crafting, and Let’s Knit.
